SHARJAH, United Arab Emirates — Sharjah’s Summer Promotions 2026 is drawing strong visitor turnout after launching on July 1, with major discounts, prize draws and tourism offers spreading across the emirate.
The campaign is organized by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority. It runs as part of Sharjah’s summer season, which continues until Sept. 15.
Officials said the promotion is being delivered with more than 55 public and private partners and includes more than 60 tourism packages and experiences aimed at different types of visitors. Shoppers also will have the chance to win more than 700 prizes during the campaign.
This year’s edition features participation from hotels, shopping malls, retail outlets and leisure destinations across Sharjah. It is also part of the emirate’s longest summer season to date, extending for 114 consecutive days.
Hospitality deals were launched earlier on May 25, with hotel and accommodation discounts setting the stage for the current retail push. The shopping campaign now adds broader offers across fashion, fragrances, accessories, electronics and home goods.
Discounts of up to 75% are available on selected products, while restaurants, cafes and hotels are also taking part with promotional packages and competitive rates.
Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, chairman of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, said the campaign is designed to strengthen Sharjah’s position as a family destination while highlighting its mix of urban, coastal and desert attractions.
He said digital tools are being used to make the event more interactive, including a Sharjah Summer Promotions mobile app with augmented reality features and electronic prize draws.
Mohammad Ahmed Amin Al-Awadi, director-general of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said the campaign also supports retailers by simplifying promotional permit procedures and giving businesses more time to run offers.
He said the initiative is intended to help small and medium-sized businesses boost sales, attract more customers and stay competitive during the busy summer period.
Five major digital prize draws are scheduled, beginning on July 18, with 700 prizes set to be awarded. Organizers said the campaign is intended to blend shopping, entertainment and tourism while reinforcing Sharjah’s appeal to residents and visitors from across the region.
