Kuwait to participate in ATM exhibition

KUWAIT- Kuwait is to participate in the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) exhibition due to be held in Dubai on Monday(May 5th,2014), for inbound and outbound tourism professionals from across the globe.

Kuwait12.jpgThe four-day event is the leading international travel and tourism event in the Middle East that attracts high level decision-makers and buyers representing every aspect of the leisure and travel industry, Ministry of Commerce and Industry said in a statement today(May 3rd).

The participation of the ministry’s tourism sector will be along with representatives from the private sector in Kuwait concerned with tourist affairs, in addition to Kuwait Hotel Owners Association and Touristic Enterprises Company, the statement added.

The cooperation with the private sector comes to consolidate the presence of the State of Kuwait in this exhibition that usually witnesses competitions between touristic companies, the statement said.

The ministry confirmed its keenness to transform Kuwait into a financial and commercial center and an attractive travel destination for tourism due to the country’s potential in tourism, thanks to the presence of international hotels, its unique location and various shopping centers.-KUNA
