DUBAI, Jan 27, 2026 (GDM) – UAE distributor Gargash Motors inaugurated the largest GAC Motor showroom in the country on Monday, marking a strategic expansion for the Chinese automotive brand in a key Dubai commercial district.
The new facility, located in Deira’s historic automotive district, is designed to the brand’s latest global identity and will showcase its full range of combustion engine and electric vehicles, the company said in a statement.
“This significant upgrade… reflects the strong and enduring place for GAC Motor in the UAE car scene,” said Shehab Gargash, Managing Director & Group CEO of Gargash Group.
The opening underscores GAC Motor’s push for growth in competitive Gulf markets. Chinese automakers, including GAC, have been rapidly expanding their presence in the Middle East, capitalizing on a reputation for value and advancing electric vehicle technology.
Mark Zhang, General Manager of GAC International Middle East, said the showroom “paves the way for our ambitious growth plans in the UAE,” with new models and locations planned for 2026.
