Al Bustan Centre sees growing demand for flexible, year-round stays after ATM 2026
DUBAI — Dubai’s growing appeal as a destination not only for holidays but also for business, relocation and extended stays is opening new opportunities for hotel apartments, according to Al Bustan Centre & Residence.
The Dubai property used Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2026 to meet tour operators, destination management companies, travel agencies, corporate travel partners and international buyers from the GCC, Europe, CIS and Asia, with discussions centred on developing business beyond the traditional peak tourism seasons.
The meetings highlighted growing interest in accommodation that combines hotel services with the space and flexibility of a home. The trend is creating opportunities in corporate accommodation, relocation, extended stays, family travel and group bookings.
For Al Bustan Centre & Residence, the focus is increasingly on developing partnerships that can generate business throughout the year rather than relying solely on seasonal tourist demand.
“Our participation at Arabian Travel Market was highly productive and gave us an important opportunity to reconnect with existing partners while meeting new buyers and travel professionals from several international markets,” said Moussa El Hayek, Chief Operating Officer of Al Bustan Centre & Residence.
He said Dubai’s appeal was evolving beyond conventional tourism.
“Dubai continues to demonstrate that tourism growth is not only about increasing visitor numbers; it is about building a complete destination where people can visit, work, live and return,” El Hayek (pictured) said.
That changing visitor profile is significant for the hotel apartment sector. A traveller may arrive in Dubai for a holiday or business meeting and later return for work, investment, relocation or a longer stay, creating demand for accommodation that can adapt to different lengths and purposes of travel.
Al Bustan Centre & Residence is positioning itself around that flexibility, offering spacious accommodation and short- and long-stay options alongside facilities designed for everyday living and convenient connectivity.
The property also used ATM to discuss technology and sustainability, with digital solutions increasingly being integrated into hospitality operations to improve efficiency and simplify the guest experience while retaining personal service.
Its sustainability efforts were recently recognised through the Dubai Sustainable Tourism Stamp 2025 – Hotel Apartment Standard, awarded by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism. The property also works with Emirates Environmental Group and participates in environmental initiatives.
“Sustainability must become part of everyday hotel operations rather than simply being treated as a marketing initiative,” El Hayek said.
Following ATM, the property plans to continue discussions with prospective partners in its existing and emerging source markets.
The aim, El Hayek said, is to turn the contacts made at the exhibition into longer-term commercial relationships while supporting Dubai’s continuing growth as a destination for tourism, business and extended stays.
