Fujairah Terminals Signs Three Land Lease Deals to Boost Regional Trade Connectivity

FUJAIRAH, May 20, 2026 — Fujairah Terminals, part of AD Ports Group, has signed three strategic land lease agreements totalling 130,000 square metres, in a move designed to deepen trade connectivity and expand logistics capabilities along one of the UAE’s most strategically positioned coastlines.

The agreements, concluded with Fujairah International Airport, Fujairah Free Zone Authority, and Al Dahra Agriculture Trading, will support the development of integrated logistics and industrial infrastructure, enabling more efficient use of port and adjacent facilities across the supply chain.

Captain Mohamed Al Yahyaei, CEO of Fujairah Terminals, said the expanded partnerships would deliver measurable gains across the trade ecosystem. “We are enabling greater connectivity, enhancing supply chain resilience, and supporting the continued growth and diversification of Fujairah’s trade ecosystem,” he said.

Sharief Habib Al Awadhi, Director-General of Fujairah Free Zone Authority, described the agreements as a significant step in the authority’s broader mission. “By strengthening partnerships across key sectors, we continue to enhance our offering to investors while contributing to the development of a resilient and future-ready economy,” he said.

Arnoud van den Berg, CEO of Al Dahra Agriculture Trading, said the agreement aligned with the company’s long-term commitment to national priorities and sustainable supply chain development across local and global markets.

Fujairah Terminals occupies a critical position on the UAE’s eastern coast, serving trade lanes connecting the Indian Subcontinent, East Africa, and the Red Sea. The terminal’s quay wall extends 1,000 metres at a depth of 15 metres, accommodating larger vessels across containerised cargo, general cargo, Ro-Ro, and cruise operations.

As part of the AD Ports Group ecosystem, the terminal integrates port, free zone, logistics, and digital services into end-to-end supply chain solutions — reinforcing the UAE’s standing as a global maritime and trade hub.

The three agreements collectively reflect the UAE’s sustained push toward economic diversification and supply chain resilience across its industrial and logistics sectors.
