Ras Al Khaimah resort launches 35 private villas

RAS AL KHAIMAH, United Arab Emirates, September 15, 2026: Marjan Hospitality has launched a new collection of 35 private villas at The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert, expanding the residential offering within the emirate’s protected Al Wadi Nature Reserve.

The standalone villas, which are available for purchase, include three-, four- and five-bedroom properties, with handover expected in early 2028.

The residences are set within the 1,235-acre Al Wadi Nature Reserve and are designed around private living in a desert setting. Each villa will feature a temperature-controlled swimming pool, desert views and indoor and outdoor living areas.

The design combines contemporary architecture with elements inspired by Arabian heritage and the surrounding landscape.

Residents will have access to a dedicated Residents’ Clubhouse as well as hospitality, dining, wellness and nature-based experiences available across The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert.

“The strongest destinations become part of people’s lives,” said Alison Grinnell, group chief operating officer of Marjan and chief executive of Marjan Hospitality.

“At Al Wadi, we are continuing to bring together private residences, hospitality, dining and nature to create a place with depth where people can return to, invest in and ultimately call home,” she said.

Farmhouse by Syrco reopens

The resort is also preparing to reopen Farmhouse by Syrco on September 21 following a design refresh and refurbishment.

The updated restaurant will include a new wine bar and place greater emphasis on dining, wine and tasting experiences. The venue will accommodate up to 270 guests across indoor areas, an outdoor terrace and the wine bar.

The redesign retains the restaurant’s existing character while introducing natural materials and updated detailing. The wine bar will provide space for wine tasting, discovery and retail.

Fragrance experience

The resort earlier this year introduced a fragrance experience in partnership with The Scent Library, an Emirati perfume house founded in Ras Al Khaimah by perfumer Saeed Al Nuaimi.

The collaboration offers guided fragrance and blending sessions, as well as private in-villa experiences with a master perfumer.

The experiences draw on ingredients associated with the UAE, including Emirati rose, moringa, sidr and oud, linking the resort’s luxury offering with local culture and traditional craftsmanship.

The new residential phase, restaurant refurbishment and fragrance programme form part of Marjan Hospitality’s broader development of Al Wadi as a destination combining hospitality, private residences, dining and nature-based experiences.

Marjan, the investment, hospitality and lifestyle company in Ras Al Khaimah, is also involved in the development of Al Marjan Island, Marjan Beach and RAK Central, as well as the Wynn Al Marjan Island project with Wynn Resorts.
