Emirates named ‘Best Airline Worldwide’ by business travellers

DUBAI– Emirates was the most awarded airline at this week’s Business Traveller (ME) awards 2014, taking home the coveted ‘Best Airline Worldwide’ title, and a further three awards including Airline with the Best First Class, Airline with the Best Business Class, and Airline with the Best Cabin Staff.

The Business Traveller (ME) Awards 2014 were presented at a gala dinner attended by travel industry professionals, and were voted on by the magazine’s readers.

Emirates continues to be a leader in defining the air travel experience, working closely with manufacturers and suppliers to offer the latest services including Wi-Fi and mobile phone connectivity for road warriors. With a complimentary chauffeur drive service and a network of 35 dedicated airport lounges offering all the amenities for a business traveller, the airline has invested heavily in providing this seamless, stress-free journey.

With 18,000 cabin crew representing over 130 nationalities, Emirates is able to deliver a memorable and personal travel experience to its diverse customers, which have become the hallmark of its service.

Emirates’ fleet of modern aircraft has now grown to 218 aircraft flying to 141 destinations in 80 countries, including the world’s largest Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 fleet. The airline, a connecter of people, places and passions, was established in 1985 and has become one of the world’s most successful carriers, winning hundreds of international awards for its products and services.
