Dubai Indian Consulate announces three-day closure

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — The Consulate General of India in Dubai will remain closed from Friday, July 17, through Sunday, July 19, because of road maintenance work inside the consulate complex.

During the three-day closure, passport, visa and attestation services will be suspended. The consulate said operations will resume on Monday, July 20.

Appointments for July 20 will open at 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 19, giving applicants a window to rebook once services restart.

The mission also said passport, visa and attestation services at the Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi will remain open on Friday, July 17, for those who need urgent consular assistance.

The brief closure is likely to affect many Indian residents in the UAE who rely on the Dubai mission for routine document processing. Normal service is expected to return once the maintenance work is completed.
