Dubai launches ‘A Dubai Invite’ programme offering rewards for residents through end-2026

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — Dubai has launched a new resident rewards program that gives people who invite family and friends to the city access to hotel, dining, attraction and transport benefits.

Called “A Dubai Invite,” the initiative runs until Oct. 31, 2026, and is designed by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism to turn residents into informal ambassadors for the city.

The program is aimed at Dubai’s diverse population of nearly 200 nationalities. Residents who verify their visiting guests can unlock offers from hotels, restaurants, attractions and transport partners across the emirate.

Among the participating hotels are W Dubai Mina Seyahi, The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina, Le Méridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Waterpark, Melia Desert Palm and ME Dubai by Meliá, along with selected IHG Hotels & Resorts properties.

The initiative also includes offers at attractions such as Aquaventure Waterpark, IMG Worlds of Adventure and Grand Hyatt Waterpark. Dining partners include Asia Asia, Ula, Papas, The 305 and Lock, Stock & Barrel.

Careem is also part of the campaign, offering complimentary Careem Plus membership and transport rebates on Hala Taxi and other services.

Officials said all promotional benefits can be redeemed through Dec. 31, 2026, allowing residents to continue using the offers after their guests leave.

Noor Al Geziry, assistant vice president for special projects and MENA at the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, said residents are among Dubai’s strongest promoters because they know the city through everyday life and personal experience.

She said the program reflects Dubai’s goal of being the best city to visit, live and work in, and aligns with the UAE’s Year of Family.

To qualify, residents must register visiting guests through the official program platform by Sept. 30. Guests arriving in Dubai between July 20 and Oct. 31, 2026, will then be confirmed through a verification process supported by Dubai’s General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs.

Once the visit is verified, residents receive access to participating offers. Each resident can unlock up to three verified benefits, with one benefit tied to each guest party.

The campaign is part of Dubai’s broader effort to strengthen tourism by linking resident participation with visitor experiences. Further participation is expected to grow as more families and friends travel to the emirate in the coming months.
