The Hotel Show 2024: A Global Showcase of Hospitality Excellence

Dubai: The Hotel Show 2024 is gearing up to be a hallmark event in the global hospitality industry, with organizers dmg events announcing the participation of 28 countries at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from June 4th to 6th.

This year’s edition boasts the largest gathering of national pavilions in the event’s history, representing diverse regions worldwide, including Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Turkey, the UAE, and newcomer Poland.

Focusing on technology, sustainability, and wellness, The Hotel Show 2024 aims to address evolving guest expectations and industry trends. Elaine O’Connell, Vice President of the Design & Hospitality Portfolio at dmg events, emphasizes the significance of meeting guest preferences, stating, “The transformation of hospitality technology is driven by growing guest expectations, particularly in wellness trends and sustainable practices.”

An industry survey conducted for The Hotel Show report reveals that 81% of hoteliers consider technology crucial for business success in the next five years. Additionally, 73% of guests prefer hotels offering self-service technology to minimize contact.

The report also indicates a shift in travel preferences, with 73% of surveyed guests planning vacations focused on enhancing physical and emotional well-being. This reflects a projected 12.42% compound annual growth rate in the global wellness tourism market by 2030.

The event will host over 100 industry experts across four conferences, including The Hospitality Leadership and F&B Forum, HITEC Dubai, UAE Professional Housekeepers Group Meeting, and THEME – The Hospitality Engineers Middle East Annual Conference.

Renu Oommen, Chief Marketing Officer of RAK Porcelain, will address the F&B Forum, discussing innovative strategies in restaurant supply choices. Oommen remarked, “At RAK Porcelain, we prioritize innovation and creativity in our products, such as the ‘RAK Earth’ dinnerware series, recognized for its unique sensory collection.”

Spanning three DWTC halls and half of the Trade Centre Arena, The Hotel Show 2024 anticipates over 250 exhibitors and more than 10,000 visitors.

Leisure Show:

Co-located with The Hotel Show, the Leisure Show will feature international participation, focusing on transforming wellness and fitness spaces through product innovation, design, and technology.

The Leisure & Wellness conference will feature 16 industry visionaries exploring the paradigm shift towards wellness-centric travel choices in UAE tourism.

In summary, The Hotel Show 2024 promises to be a dynamic platform, bringing together industry leaders, innovators, and stakeholders to shape the future of hospitality and wellness tourism on a global scale.
