DUBAI- In line with the celebrations of the 67th Independence Day, Pakistan Association Dubai is planning to celebrate it with great enthusiasm.
An art exhibition of talented expat Pakistanis is scheduled on 13th August 2014 at 7:00pm at Musawwir Art Gallery Al Qouz to focus on the creative and artistic talent of Pakistanis settled abroad organized by newly formed Arts & Photography Club of the Pakistan Association of Dubai.
Ambassador Javed Malik (Prime Minister’s Special Envoy for Overseas Investment) will be the chief guest and will inaugurate the exhibition and will run for 2 days on the 13th and 14th of August.
Proceeds of the paintings will go to ongoing PAD community projects. This first Exhibition focuses on the works of 2 artists, Nazar Haidri and Irfan Mirza.
Another event “Azadi Night” will be held on Thursday, 14th August 2014 at 8:30pm at auditorium of Pakistan Education Academy. The H.E. Asif Durrani(The Ambassador of Pakistan) and H.E. Javed Jalil Khattak(The Consul General of Pakistan) among the dignitaries will grace the function , the event would have various fun filled activities like national songs, magic show dress show and unveiling of UNITY Banner will also take place.
