GCC Secretary-General Praises Cultural Showcase at Expo 2025 Osaka

OSAKA, Japan, 6 July 2025 (WAM) — Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), praised the rich cultural and visionary content showcased by GCC countries at Expo 2025 Osaka, calling it a professional reflection of national identity and regional ambitions.

During his visit to the Japan Pavilion and GCC country pavilions, Albudaiwi highlighted that the displays effectively embody the cultural heritage and future-forward strategies of the GCC states. He noted that the exhibits reinforce the influential presence of the Gulf nations in international forums and strengthen their role in global development.

Held under the theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” the Expo features immersive and interactive platforms where GCC countries are presenting their achievements across development, culture, economy, and environmental innovation.

“The GCC pavilions blend heritage with technology, offering a distinct and authentic portrayal of our region’s identity,” Albudaiwi said.

He added that the GCC’s strong presence at the global expo underlines the region’s strategic outlook and its commitment to forming meaningful partnerships worldwide.
