DUBAI- Dubai will begin testing drone delivery services at selected public parks and beaches later this year under a new partnership between Dubai Municipality and Keeta Drone, officials said.
The initiative aims to introduce aerial delivery routes for food, beverages and essential items across public recreational spaces as part of Dubai’s broader smart mobility strategy.
Dubai Municipality said the project would initially roll out in phases at selected locations before potential expansion across the emirate.
Officials said the partnership would assess the feasibility of integrating drone logistics into public infrastructure while improving delivery speed and visitor convenience.
“Dubai continues to strengthen its position as a global leader in adopting future technologies that elevate quality of life,” said Bader Anwahi, CEO of the Public Facilities Agency at Dubai Municipality.
Under the agreement, Dubai Municipality will identify suitable locations and coordinate implementation in line with urban planning and regulatory requirements.
Keeta Drone will oversee technical studies, route planning, operational testing and performance assessments for the aerial delivery network.
The initiative forms part of Dubai’s wider efforts to expand smart city infrastructure and future mobility solutions.
