Chronoliner B04 Boutique Edition arrives in the Middle East

DUBAI- Swiss luxury watchmaker and aviation chronograph specialist, Breitling has introduced the Chronoliner B04 to the Middle East market. Issued in a 100-piece limited edition series, with 20 models available for Middle East customers, the Breitling Chronoliner houses a Manufacture Breitling Caliber B04 powering a dual timezone system. Enhanced by its all-blue livery, the aviation chronograph has an exclusive new face with a truly timeless look.

Equipped with a special engraved caseback – sporting a vintage-look pin-up and “Special delivery” inscription, within the Middle East, the Chronoliner B04 is available exclusively from one of the 11 Breitling Boutiques across the region. To accentuate the exclusive nature of this original and high-performance model, Breitling has chosen to combine the steel case with a blue bezel and dial – the latter adorned with silver counters. The matching rubber Aero Classic strap is embossed with a pattern reminiscent of the steel mesh bracelets which equipped the brand’s instruments during the 1950s and 60s.

Commenting on the model’s arrival in the region, Aed Adwan, Breitling Middle East said: “The Chronoliner offers a blend of luxury and performance in an all-blue livery limited series that will appeal to our Middle East aviation aficionados. With its automatic chronograph, its second timezone display in 24-hour mode and its high-tech ceramic rotating bezel serving to read off a third-time zone, the Chronoliner has asserted itself as the authentic flight captain’s watch. In addition to being the perfect companion for our aviation professionals, the model is also well suited to our jet-setting Middle East customers who frequently travel for both business and pleasure”.

Entirely developed and produced in Breitling’s workshops, the B04 ‘engine’ officially chronometer-certified by the COSC is distinguished by its extremely functional dual timezone system. To adjust the main hours hand to local time, all the wearer need do is pull out the crown and turn it either way in one-hour increments, without losing any precision in terms of minutes and while ensuring automatic adjustment of the date in both directions.

Like all Breitling chronographs and watches, the Chronoliner B04 was designed to withstand intensive usage in the toughest conditions, notably thanks to a rugged case water-resistant to 100 m (330 ft.), a sapphire crystal glareproofed on both sides, and an ultra-hard, scratch-resistant ceramic bezel featuring a star-shaped cutout that facilitates handling even with gloves.
