Bahraini-US cooperation reviewed

MANAMA– Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa met here today(May 28th) a delegation of US Senate employees, currently on a visit to the kingdom.

The BDF Commander-in-Chief reviewed with the delegation areas of Bahraini-US cooperation, and lauding the solid bilateral relations, growing steadily in all fields, especially regarding the exchange of expertise and military cooperation, expressing hope that joint military cooperation and coordination will continue.

The delegation was briefed about the BDF’s history, units and the development and progress it has gone through during the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander.

Director of the BDF General Headquarters major-General Yussef Ahmed Al-Jalahma, Inspector-General major-General Abdulla Hassan Al-Nuaimi, Director of Maintenance and Technical Supply Rear admiral Mohammed Hashim Al-Sada, Director of Military Cooperation Brigadier-General Shaikh Ahmed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and a number of senior BDF officers were present.-BNA
