Prince Sultan Bin Salman:Exhibitions and conferences sector in KSA is set to see quantum leap

FRANKFURT- Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has said the National Program for Exhibitions and Conferences in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, of which he is also the Chairman of the Supervising Committee, is currently witnessing enacting new regulations to further promote it to attract more investments, noting that the giant economic projects being orchestrated in the Kingdom would envisage doubling the investments in the field of exhibitions and conferences.

In a recorded speech at the opening ceremony of Frankfurt IMEX expo 2014 which recently wrapped up in this German city of Frankfurt, Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz added that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia now enjoys a strong economy, thanks to Allah Almighty, the stability of the country and the far-sighted and balanced economic and financial administration and vision, supervised by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, citing that the Kingdom has used its economic resources in the development of the country and the service of citizens.

He vowed that the next four years would witness the outcome of the new plans designed for the conferences and exhibitions sector, citing the establishment of new exhibitions and conferences centers throughout the Kingdom, the conduct of training courses for Saudi job-seekers in this field, the support for investments in the sector and facilitation of issuing visitors and participants entry visas to the Kingdom to attend conferences and exhibitions in the country.

Out of the exhibitors from 150 countries in Frankfurt IMEX expo 2014, the Arab countries of the Kingdom Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Tunisia and Morocco took part.-SPA
