Bahraini-Irish parliamentary cooperation discussed

MANAMA – Shura Council second Deputy Chairman, Head of Bahraini-Irish friendship Committee, Dr. Bahiya Jawad Al-Jishi, today(May 14th)  highlighted Bahrain’s keenness to establish cooperation relations with various countries of the world under mutual respect and common interests. 

shura_33_0Al-Jishi praised bilateral relations with Ireland and noted the parliamentary friendship committees’ role in bringing together views on issues of common interest.

She welcomed the current visit of the Irish Parliament’s Foreign Affairs and Trade Committee Chairman, Pat Breen, to Bahrain to boost bilateral friendship and cooperation relations and to meet senior Bahraini officials, including Council of Representatives Speaker, Minister of Commerce and Industry, in addition to visit Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company and Bahrain international investment Zone. 

Breen commended the ongoing relations between the two countries in all fields and the economic developments witnessed by Bahrain. He underscored the exchange of visits in opening new cooperation horizons.-BNA
