DUBAI, United Arab Emirates: The UAE Fuel Price Committee has confirmed new retail fuel prices for August 2026, with motorists set to pay more for petrol and diesel beginning Saturday, Aug. 1.
The revised rates follow the committee’s monthly review, which aligns domestic fuel prices with movements in international oil markets.
August 2026 fuel prices
From Aug. 1, motorists will pay:

All fuel categories increased by AED 0.20 per litre compared with July.
Monthly pricing mechanism
The UAE reviews fuel prices at the end of each month through the UAE Fuel Price Committee, with retail rates adjusted in line with prevailing global energy market conditions.
When the new prices apply
The updated petrol and diesel prices take effect Saturday, Aug. 1, 2026, and will remain in place until the UAE Fuel Price Committee announces the next monthly revision at the end of August.
Motorists can view the latest fuel prices through major UAE fuel retailers, including ADNOC Distribution and Emarat, or follow updates from the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure.
