Qatar Airways buoyant at ATM with US-themed entertainment thrilling visitors

348C6075DUBAI– Qatar Airways had a significant presence at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) yesterday(May 6th), thrilling visitors with its show-stopping US-themed entertainment at the airline’s brand new exhibition stand.

Qatar Airways will prove yet again its international leadership position by introducing two new routes to the United States – Miami and Dallas/Fort Worth – in the next two months, reinforcing its position as one of the world’s leading airlines.

348C6123The airline celebrated the imminent launch of flights to its sixth and seventh destinations in the US with Miami-styled Salsa entertainment and some amazing rope tricks courtesy of a local cowboy from Dallas.

The national carrier of the State of Qatar will begin operations to and from Miami on 10 June and Dallas/Fort Worth on 1 July 2014. Qatar Airways will operate four weekly non-stop flights to Miami and direct daily flights to Dallas/Fort Worth from its hub in Doha.

His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Airways said: “With these two new routes, Qatar Airways will operate to seven destinations across the United States, and we are very excited that these routes will be launched from the state-of-the-art newly opened Hamad International Airport.”

348C6067Qatar Airways has seen rapid growth in just 17 years of operation, to the point where today it operates a modern fleet of 134 aircraft to 138 key business and leisure destinations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, North America and South America.

Over the next few months, the network will grow further with new routes to Al Hofuf, Saudi Arabia (May 15), Istanbul SabihaGökçen Airport, Turkey (May 22, 2014), Edinburgh, Scotland (May 28, 2014), Miami, USA (June 10, 2014), Haneda, Japan (June 18, 2014), Dallas/Fort Worth, USA (July 1, 2014) and Djibouti (July 27, 2014).
