Nasser bin Hamad International Youth Creativity Award praised

hishamalgoder_123_0MANAMA– President of the General Organisation for Youth and Sport (GOYS) Hesham Mohammed Al-Jowdar said that the launch of the international edition of the Nasser bin Hamad Award for Youth Creativity aims to motivate youths and encourage them to be more creative and innovative.
He pointed out that the Nasser bin Hamad International Youth Creativity Award would be more competitive as it would attract participants from all over the world.

He expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for his support for his award for youth creativity and the launch of its international edition, which, he said, reflects Shaikh Nasser’s far-sightedness and keenness to enable youths to take part in the nation-building process witnessed by their countries.

He asserted that Bahrain, thanks to its leadership’s directives, allocates special importance to youths and spares no effort to put in place all requirements to enable them to participate effectively in efforts to develop the nation and serve their community, out of its strong belief that they are the real assets of the country.

He said that the launch of the Nasser bin Hamad Award for Youth Creativity was in line with the leadership’s directives to provide programmes and activities that would allow Bahraini youths to compete with youths from different countries, acquire more expertise and be informed about successful experiences.

He added that the Kingdom will welcome creative youths from all over the world, noting that GOYS has developed a plan to deal with the creative projects to be submitted by the participants and create a suitable environment for competitors in order to carry on their creativity and excellence work.

He said that GOYS will contact its counterparts in various countries to encourage creative youths to take part in the award. -BNA
