Jumeirah Creekside Hotel launches fundraiser to sponsor Manzil students’ education

DUBAI- Jumeirah Creekside Hotel is proud to announce the corporate ‘Pole Position Challenge,’ set to raise funds and provide sponsored education for students at the Manzil Centre in Sharjah.

unnamed (2)Scheduled to take place at Dubai Autodrome on 23 October 2014 from 8am to 5pm, the team-building fundraiser will form part of Jumeirah Creekside Hotel’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility programme.

The ‘Pole Position Challenge’ will offer team-building sessions for corporate groups where participants can get to grips with the track in an Audi TT and learn how to make the most of this high performance car on a race track.

Kart racing will also be organised to pack in competitive fun for everyone who ventures onto the grid. The funds raised will help support students with a one-year academic sponsorship at Manzil.

Registration costs AED 10,000 for a team of four and includes a luxury breakfast and lunch buffet at Dubai Autodrome provided by Jumeirah Creekside Hotel, refreshments throughout the day, traditional afternoon tea at the same site, team photograph, racing t-shirts, award ceremony, framed certificate, racing kit and activity equipment for the day.

The hotel has sponsored many activities since March 2013 to raise funds for Manzil including a charity art event with well-known Irish musician Sir Bob Geldof, producing the book ‘You Are U’, co-written by two students. Educational and sports sessions including tennis and photography have also been organised for Manzil students. Manzil provides a professional caring environment for individuals with special needs and aims to empower students to enhance their talents. The ‘Pride Programme’ by Manzil is a vocational programme that allows students to learn skills in the workplace. Jumeirah Creekside Hotel supports this by providing training opportunities in the hospitality industry.
