Hamdan bin Mohammed orders construction of smart, eco-friendly nursery schools

Sheikh Hamdan DUBAI-  Acting on directives by the Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the General Secretariat of the Executive Council has announced embarking on the construction of two smart and eco-friendly nursery schools in Al Warqaa and Al Barsha areas in cooperation with the Dubai Educational District.

The announcement is part of a series of strategic initiatives in the field of education that aim to raise the bar in the quality of education in the emirate of Dubai and set standards for a unique model for preschool education. Each of the nursery schools will have a capacity of 200 students.

The Secretary General of the Dubai Executive Council, Abdullah Al Shaibani, said that the new smart and eco-friendly nursery schools is part of Dubai’s strategy to invest in education for the benefit of the future generations as per the vision of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed and Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

According to Al Shaibani, the Dubai Executive Council has signed a number of strategic partners to build the nursery schools as per the highest standards of green and sustained development. Main highlights of the project include eco-friendly transportation, organic agriculture and smart, high-tech tools that sustain a unique educational environment that nurtures creativity.

The smart, eco-friendly nursery schools will serve as a model that will be replicated following their anticipated success.-WAM
