Fire at Zayed Military City warehouse brought under control

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates — Firefighting teams from the UAE Armed Forces brought a warehouse fire under control at Zayed Military City on Monday, according to the Ministry of Defence.

The ministry said the blaze involved wood and old ammunition stored inside one of the warehouses. It said the fire was fully contained and that no injuries were reported.

The ministry urged the public to rely on official channels for updates and information about the incident.

Zayed Military City is one of the UAE’s key defense sites and houses military facilities on the outskirts of Abu Dhabi. Further information is expected if authorities provide a follow-up on the cause of the fire or the condition of the site.
