Bring wedding days to life with the Arabian Wedding & Event Academy

DUBAI: What do you think it takes to be a wedding planner? Have you been swept away with the romance of the job, based on what you see in the movies; think Jennifer Lopez in The Wedding Planner, Katherine Heigl in 27 Dresses, and even Martin Short in Father of the Bride? Well, while the end result can certainly be a showstopper for the blissful couple and their guests, the behind the scenes reality is vastly different from that shown on the big screen.

It takes patience, resourcefulness, compassion, immense problem-solving skills, organisation capabilities, and even a little ingenuity on occasions, to ensure you have everything organised. It involves early starts, and late finishes, temper tantrums, missing items, dealing with food allergies, and ensuring that flowers arrive, rings are in place and that everyone has a good time.

Sounds daunting? The Arabian Academy of Wedding & Event Planning ensures you are fully equipped to turn a dream wedding into a reality. The UK-based institute, which opened its regional office in Dubai last year, offers a variety of courses for those aspiring to be wedding planners while also providing experienced professionals an opportunity to gain a certification/diploma.

All courses are provided online and can be completed as per your convenience, with flexible payment plans. The courses are available across UAE, Kuwait, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Jordan, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain.

Learners can opt for any of the below:
