DUBAI- Artissima Art Gallery and Icon Art production reached a memorandum of understanding to bring the different worlds of art to the film world and performing arts to the art galleries.
Aurela Cuku, Managing Partner, Artissima Art Gallery and Zakir Hussain, CEO of Icon Art Production reiterate their objective to bring different types of art forms to the people through various mediums, including film.
“We started with an objective to bring our artists to each Emirate in the UAE as well as encourage the film production world to use art venues in their productions to reach the wider audience. As a Film and TV Production market leader, Icon Art Production is already playing a crucial role in supporting the increase of International filmmakers coming to Dubai from abroad and we would like to show film makers what the art world in Dubai has to offer as backdrops to their productions,” added Aurela.
As one of Top 10 Production Houses in Dubai UAE, Icon Art production is set to promote and support Local and International Production for Feature Film, Short Film, TV Programs, Music Video, TV Commercials and Events Productions. The world of art, which has grown tenfold, has not been explored in films made locally.
Zakir from Icon Art Production adds, “Recently we Invested over 10 Million Dirhams to upgrade our equipment to Support Feature Films, TV Commercials, Music Videos and several corporate Films and events in Dubai UAE.
Icon Art production will promote Artissima gallery as a shooting location for TV Commercials, TV Programs, Talks Shows, events, Interviews and workshops and seminars based on the creative requirement of local and international production in Film, TV and Events Production.
By collaborating with Artissima Art Gallery, we also want to offer Producers and directors an inspiring venues with art from around the world as Dubai makes its mark in the field of art and culture.”
