Bursa is Turkey’s one of the most important industrial cities having a strong automotive, textile and food sectors. Jafza offers huge growth opportunities for the companies in all these sectors in the region, which is expanding at a very fast pace. We invite Turkish companies from Bursa to come to Jafza and capitalize on the rapidly changing market dynamics in the Middle East. Most of the countries in the region are making huge investments in building social and economic infrastructure to diversify their economies from oil to non-oil sectors. This, in effect, has made significant impact on not only in the construction but also all other sectors of the economy generating demand for all kind of goods right from food products, consumer goods to fashion. UAE’s winning the right to host Expo 2020 in Dubai has provided further push to the region’s market economy.”

He sought strong bilateral relations between Bursa and Jafza to boost trade between the two sides by encouraging businesses from Bursa to join Jafza in order for them to explore and capitalize on the growing opportunities in the region.

Jafza is currently home to 86 Turkish companies. The Jafza – turkey trade in 2013 is estimated to have crossed AED 3 billion. Turkey’s trade with Dubai is currently limited mainly to precious metal, jewelry, electronic products, oils and perfumes. Huge possibilities exist for automotive aftermarket, food and dairy products, textile and garments, as well as construction material, which are Bursa’s stronger sectors.
