DUBAI, UAE — UAE citizens planning to perform Hajj in 2027 will be able to submit their applications from Sept. 14, with the registration window remaining open for 12 days.
The General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat said Monday that applications will be accepted until Sept. 25 through its smart application and official website.
Key Hajj 2027 dates for UAE citizens
- Sept. 14, 2026: Registration opens
- Sept. 25, 2026: Applications close
- Oct. 9, 2026: Approved pilgrims are scheduled to be announced
Applicants will be assessed through an automated screening process based on the eligibility requirements and conditions approved under Cabinet Resolution No. 32 of 2018.
Those selected will be contacted after the screening process to complete the remaining procedures required for the pilgrimage.
Early registration process
The authority said preparations for the 2027 Hajj season are already underway to allow enough time for applications to be reviewed and arrangements for pilgrims to be completed.
Planning will cover services provided in the UAE as well as arrangements at the holy sites in Saudi Arabia.
The authority said preparations will also draw on reviews of previous Hajj seasons, with technology and service improvements being incorporated into planning for the upcoming pilgrimage.
What applicants should do
UAE citizens intending to apply should monitor the authority’s official digital channels and ensure they can access the relevant application platform when registration opens.
Applicants should also review the eligibility requirements before submitting their applications and provide the required information during the registration period.
The early timetable gives selected pilgrims several months to complete the necessary arrangements before the 2027 Hajj season.
