Dubai Investments marks 5th Green Run anniversary

Dubai, United Arab Emirates — Dubai Investments has announced the fifth annual Dubai Investments Green Run, scheduled for Feb. 15, 2026, at Dubai Investments Park (DIP), marking five years of what has become one of the city’s most prominent community sustainability initiatives.

Since its launch, the Green Run has grown steadily in scale and impact, drawing thousands of participants across the UAE and promoting active lifestyles alongside environmental awareness. Organizers say the milestone edition reflects the event’s evolution from a small community activity into an annual movement centered on health, sustainability and social engagement.

The 2026 edition will follow the established format that has helped broaden its appeal among families, students, community groups, runners and corporate teams. Participants can choose between a 3-kilometer fun walk or run, open to all ages and fitness levels, and a 5-kilometer timed race for competitive runners.

The event will begin at 6 a.m. from the Dubai Investments Park headquarters in DIP 1, offering an early-morning community atmosphere designed to encourage broad participation.

Mohammed Saeed Al Raqbani, head of the Sustainability Committee at Dubai Investments, said the fifth anniversary represents a significant milestone for the organization.

“What began as a humble community initiative has grown into a powerful annual movement that brings together thousands of participants who believe in sustainability and healthier living,” Al Raqbani said. “The growth we have witnessed—in numbers, enthusiasm and environmental awareness—reflects the strong legacy the Dubai Investments Green Run has built over the years.”

The run will continue its tradition of awarding AED 22,000 in cash prizes across multiple competitive categories. Additional recognition will be given to families, schools and organizations that present the most compelling Green Messages, highlighting creativity and environmental advocacy within the community.

A central feature of the event, the Dubai Investments Green Run Village, will return behind the company’s headquarters at DIP 1. The village will host interactive environmental activities and educational experiences aimed at encouraging greener everyday practices among visitors of all ages.

Registration for the fifth Dubai Investments Green Run is now open to individuals, families, schools, corporate teams and community groups. More information and registration details are available at www.greenrun.ae.
