Dubai Culture launches Bank of Healing Words for Al Maktoum Hospital Museum

DUBAI- The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority. Dubai Culture, the Emirate’s dedicated Authority for culture, arts, and heritage, has launched the second phase of crowd-sourcing for Al Maktoum Hospital Museum, entitled: “Words That Heal”, as words can have a powerful and remedial effect on those suffering.

The Authority has launched a Bank of Healing Words,’ which will be driven by donations and submissions from social media users for Words That Heal for those who need them the most. The Bank of Healing Words’ will be shared with patients in hospitals across the city.

The social media initiative will be launched on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Users can be part of the crowd-sourcing for Al Maktoum Hospital Museum by using the hashtag #WordsThatHeal in their posts, enabling their thoughts to be documented in the first museum dedicated to Dubai’s oldest hospital.

Following the first phase of data collation, compiled through the eyes and experiences of some of the hospital’s very first doctors, healthcare professionals, and patients, the Words That Heal crowd-sourcing campaign will pay homage to Al Maktoum Hospital’s role in the community.

Through the Words That Heal campaign, Dubai Culture will engage with the wider community, encouraging people across all cross-spectrums to donate their words.-WAM
