Al Qasba hosts Moroccan street performers Colokolo on first day of Eid

03SHARJAH- Al Qasba, the premier tourist, leisure, and family destination in the emirate of Sharjah, is inviting its visitors to experience very special Eid Al Fitr celebrations with Colokolo, a Moroccan based street performance act which will perform six shows on Eid days, to bring fun and joy to visitors of all ages.

Shows are scheduled from 6:30 to 10:30 pm and will feature the interactions and antics of the café’s faithful patrons.

Other acts will include Chinese pole, juggling, teeterboard, slake line, and more throughout the day.

The shows will take place daily between 6:30 pm and 10:30 pm and performers from Colokolo will also be on the walkways of Al Qasba with their variety of acts, including Chinese pole, juggling, teeterboard, slake line, and more throughout the day.

02Speaking on the occasion, Sultan Shattaf, Al Qasba Destination Manager, said, “Al Qasba always marks the religious and national days by organising celebrations for the whole family.We are keen to host innovative and first of their kind celebrations in the emirate of Sharjah and UAE.Colokolo’s Moroccan street shows offer a unique experience and will be a valuable addition to the activities being organised by Sharjah during Eid. The shows are performed in a fun style that appeals spectators from all ages. We hope this activity will please Al Qasba’s many visitors during Eid.”  

01Shows will start daily at blocks C and D at 6:30 pm with two shows for 10 minutes each, followed by two similar shows at blocks A and F at 7:30.

The largest shows will take place from 8:50 to 10:30 at Eye of the Emirates Wheel, and will feature 8 of the performers of the group.
