Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup Returns to Abu Dhabi for 10th Edition at Yas Links

Abu Dhabi, UAE – Turkish Airlines, the airline flying to more countries than any other, brought its prestigious Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup (TAWGC) back to Abu Dhabi on 5th April, marking the second event in the tournament’s 2025 calendar. Held at the renowned Yas Links Golf Course, the 10th edition of the global corporate golf tournament attracted high-profile guests, including business leaders and influential figures from across the emirate.

The Abu Dhabi leg of the tournament saw Jose Angel Garcia San Juan claim the champion’s title with an impressive 41 points, securing his spot in the TAWGC Grand Finals to be held later this year at the luxurious Gloria Serenity Resorton Türkiye’s famed Golf Coast. Ross Marshall and Karl Bishop finished as runner-up and second runner-up respectively, while Will Royce and Su Yeon Ko triumphed in the Closest to the Pin contest. Jose Angel Garcia San Juan also won the gross trophy with a score of 72.

Launched in 2013, the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup has grown to become the world’s most prominent corporate amateur golf series. The 2025 edition includes 130 tournaments across 83 countries, bringing together more than 10,000 players globally. Winners from each qualifying event will compete in the Grand Finals in Türkiye, enjoying the airline’s renowned Business Class hospitality en route.

Speaking at the event, Mehmet Zingal, General Manager for Turkish Airlines in Abu Dhabi, said:
