Fame Group announces the winner of Fame Music – DJ Contest

DUBAI- Fame Group has announced the winner of Fame Music DJ Contest, the largest Electronic Dance Music (EDM) competition ever held in the region. With over 5,000 track points Jako Diaz is the next resident DJ at GQ Bar in Dubai.

With hundreds of tracks participating in phase one of the contest, only 25 tracks qualified to the semifinals from which a panel of industry experts selected the top 10 finalists to compete for the title, where the original mix “I fall” from Jack Diaz attained the highest public voting claiming him the winner of Fame Music DJ Contest.

“It is a big dream that came true”, Carlo Servodio the Italian young man nicknamed as Jacko Diaz said, “I can’t wait to arrive in Dubai, build on this and really take my music as far as possible”.

“I would like to thank Fame Music Group, GQ Bar and all the people who listened and liked my track for the opportunity that allowed me and many other DJs and music producers who live on the vibe, to show their talents and reach new heights in the EDM industry” Jako concluded .

Being the Winner of Fame Music DJ Contest, Servodio won a residency contract at the leading GQ Bar in Dubai plus, flight and one month fully paid accommodation in Dubai. In addition, his winning track will be released on all major international digital distribution platforms.

With over 30,000 users currently registered on the portal, the Fame Music DJ Contest is considered the definitive stage for talent showcasing on a global scale. With a panel that includes some of the genre’s esteemed industry professionals, including the multi-award winning electronic duo Hollaphonic and Dan Greenpeace (CEO and Founder of All City Music), amongst other eminent music industry experts.

On 15th September 2014, Jako Diaz have performed and entertained the audience with his revolutionary sound in an invite-only live event at GQ Bar.
