Marriott Partners with Hamleys to Offer Little Guests In-room Teddy Bear Menu

London: London Marriott Hotel Park Lane has partnered with world-renowned toy emporium, Hamleys, to offer little guests the opportunity to handpick their own British bear from the hotel’s in-room Teddy Bear Menu and behind the scenes shop experiences to families staying in the hotel.

The five-star boutique hotel ideally located in the English capital’s famous Hyde Park, has partnered with world-renowned toy emporium, Hamleys, to offer little guests the opportunity to handpick their own British bear from the hotel’s in-room Teddy Bear Menu and behind the scenes shop experiences to families staying in the hotel.

Established in 1760, Hamleys is the brainchild behind the finest bears and knows a thing or two about creative design which sparks imagination and ensures the best bear hugs for little guests. Upon arrival, families will be whisked off to their stunning suite and little guests will be welcomed with the hotel’s bespoke in-room Teddy Bear Menu consisting of 11 themed bears. From great British favourites such as Beefeaters to the contemporary Pilot, the Teddy Bear Menu explains each bear’s name, their unique characteristics and what type of owner they are looking for.

When tots have chosen their bear and wish to meet their new companion, a swift call to their Bear Butler is required. A knock on the suite door a few moments later and in true silver-service style, little ones are magically greeted by the hotel’s Bear Butler with their newly-selected Hamleys bear, ready for adoption.

Families will also enjoy London Marriott Hotel Park Lane’s welcome amenities including: robes, slippers, bathroom toiletries, rubber ducks and some bear-themed sweet treats; ensuring both children and teddy bear settle into their new home away from home. To become better acquainted with their newly-selected bear, youngsters have the option of indulging in a teddy bears’ picnic from their in-room Teddy Bear Menu; to be hosted in the comfort of their own suite. Making the most of family time, little guests (and grown-ups) will enjoy a hamper filled to the brim with delectable sandwiches, savoury snacks, fresh juice and teddy bear cupcakes creating a memorable moment for all to treasure.

As day becomes night, little guests (and their new companion) will receive the hotel’s signature teddy turndown service in the evening with a warm glass of milk and cookies, making certain that they look forward to going to sleep. Grown-ups will also enjoy a selection of handpicked classic bear stories in their suite; ensuring there is plenty to read to little ones come bedtime.

To continue the magic of family time, Hamleys will extend exclusive in-store experiences for families staying at London Marriott Hotel Park Lane. Families can enjoy the shop’s seven floors of enchantment before they open their doors to the general public (£500 minimum spend) or partake in a one-hour VIP tour of the store, learning about the toys and how they have changed over the past 259 years; the experience also includes a small takeaway gift and priced at £35 per person.

The Teddy Bear Butler service in partnership with Hamleys is complimentary to all families when booking a suite direct. For families staying in another room category, the package is available to purchase for an additional ÂŁ40 per child.
