French MRO Firms Showcase Sustainable Tech in Dubai Expo

Dubai, UAE, 3 Feb 2026 (GDM)– Twenty-one leading French aerospace companies will showcase advanced, lower-impact maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) solutions at the AIME/MRO Middle East event on 4–5 February at Dubai World Trade Centre. The French Pavilion, organised under the French Fab brand, aims to highlight sustainable, data-driven technologies tailored to the Middle East’s growing aviation sector.

The region’s MRO market is expanding rapidly, with spending expected to reach $16 billion by 2025 and exceed $20 billion by 2035. Growth is driven by expanding commercial fleets in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, increasing demand for predictive maintenance, faster turnaround times, reliable component access, and greener operations. Etihad Engineering recently launched its Al Massar strategy to double revenue by 2030, including major hangar expansion in Abu Dhabi.

French companies are already forging strategic partnerships across the region. EPCOR signed a long-term maintenance deal with Riyadh Air for Boeing 787 APUs, while Safran Aero Boosters will build a new engine test cell at Sanad’s GTF MRO Center in Al Ain. Satys Aerospace and ExecuJet MRO Services have opened a dedicated aircraft painting facility at Dubai South, and Thales, Emirates, and Dubai Air Navigation Services are co-developing an AI-powered system to cut holding patterns by up to 40% and reduce fuel consumption.

“The Middle East is a key market for French aerospace expertise,” said Axel Baroux, Managing Director of Business France Middle East. “Our companies bring operational excellence, shorter turnaround times, and greener maintenance solutions, already proven across the region.”

The French Pavilion covers the full aircraft lifecycle, including cabin interiors, digitalization, tooling, ground support, surface treatment, and aerospace logistics. Attendees can visit live demonstrations and explore collaboration opportunities in Sheikh Saeed Halls at DWTC.

Business France, the public agency promoting French international business development, oversees the pavilion. The agency supports export growth, foreign investment in France, and international internships, with operations in 55 countries worldwide.
