GEMS Education Launches Global School Management Arm to Build Turnkey K-12 Schools

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – July 1, 2025 – GEMS Education has announced the launch of GEMS School Management (GSM), a new global initiative offering turnkey solutions for K-12 schools in partnership with governments, developers, investors, and education groups.

With over 65 years of experience in operating high-performing schools, GEMS is positioning GSM as a comprehensive “school-in-a-box” solution. The service is already in advanced discussions with potential partners in eight international markets.

GSM is designed to develop and operate new schools or transform existing ones using its proprietary ASPIRE model. This framework includes everything from curriculum design and staffing to digital infrastructure and operations. It is tailored to deliver British, American, IB, Indian, or local curricula based on partner requirements.

“GSM brings the full force of the GEMS ecosystem to the table,” said Robert Tarn CBE, Managing Director of GEMS School Management. “We’ve done the thinking, built the model, and can be ready to open a high-impact school – with the right team, systems, and students – in as little as 12 months.”

GSM’s model includes architectural guidance, inclusive education strategies, safeguarding protocols, and marketing solutions. It also offers enhancement contracts for existing schools seeking to improve outcomes or scale effectively.

Sunny Varkey, Founder and Chairman of GEMS Education, said, “Every child deserves access to world-class education, no matter where they are. GSM is how we share our legacy and expertise with partners who share our vision. Together, we will build schools that shape not only futures, but nations.”

GSM’s flexible approach allows partners to choose from premium to mid-market school models aligned with regional economic, regulatory, and social needs.
