Carnegie Mellon Qatar honors 182 students for academic excellence

DOHA, Qatar — Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar honored 182 students for outstanding academic achievement, naming them to the Dean’s List for the fall 2025 semester.

The university, a partner of Qatar Foundation, recognizes Dean’s List students twice each academic year to celebrate exceptional performance during the previous semester.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dean Michael Trick said the Dean’s List is among the university’s highest academic honors.

“It reflects sustained excellence, perseverance and determination,” Trick said. “We are proud of these students and excited to see them continue to grow academically and professionally.”

The honorees include 28 first-year students, 37 sophomores, 55 juniors and 62 seniors, reflecting the diverse and international student body at CMU-Q.

First-year honorees include:
