Bistrot Bagatelle Valentine’s Day Specials

Dubai: As Valentine’s Day fast approaches, heads may spin, and this isn’t all down to the romance. There are too many options clambering for the attention of the lovers out there and it’s easy to understand why they feel overwhelmed.

Bagatelle understands the importance of that all-important romantic meal, their ethos is rooted in ‘joie de vivre’ after all, so they have created a Valentine’s experience that will leave you feeling light as air. On Saturday 15th February, Bagatelle will host ‘From Paris with Love’, when a set menu will be available for AED 295 per person. A divine live performance from sultry singer Omar Dean, will elevate the evening to the upper echelons of amorosity.

Head chef Dave Fitzsimmons has curated a menu that will take guests on a sublime journey of French cuisine. Naturally the meal will start with bread and dips, because carbs are a love affair all on their own. The amuse- bouche of caviar blinis, setting the scene for a wonderful meal ahead.

There are three options of starters to choose from- Gillardeau oysters with truffle ponzo dressing, lobster and tarragon tortellini or baked foie gras and a parmesan custard tart. The main course offering is a sumptuous affair with pan roasted beef tenderloin and veal wrapped foie gras, slow roasted duck breast and carrot and orange puree or pan seared seabass with confit carrot and fennel, on offer.

The palate will be cleansed with a rose petal sorbet with raspberries and sweet rosemary syrup, before indulging in either white truffle and strawberry coupe d’armour, with white chocolate and ice cream or chocolate delice, cherries and crème fraîche ice cream.
