Rejuvenate the senses with Full Moon Yoga at Madinat Jumeirah

DUBAI- Madinat Jumeirah, the Arabian resort of Dubai, is offering guests the chance to join a journey of self-discovery under the light of the full moon.

Each month, full moon yoga sessions are available to guests looking to experience true inner peace. In the stunning beach side setting, participants are encouraged to unite their mind, body and spirit with this invigorating session.

Guests are transported by buggy from the resort’s award-winning Talise Spa to the beautiful pristine 3km of sandy beach at Madinat Jumeirah, where the experience takes place. During the evening the full moon rises over the wind towers of Al Qasr hotel to illuminate the practice space. The beautiful setting makes the session even more effective and therapeutic, while the soothing sound of the waves enhances relaxation. The various asanas repeated during a full moon helps maximise oxygen intake and provide better blood flow as Yoga Master Vijay Sharma takes the class on a journey of internal reflection.

Madinat Jumeirah’s Talise Spa yoga instructor, Vijay Sharma, said: “The full moon has a powerful effect on our mood and energy levels and Talise Spa at Madinat Jumeirah offers an opportunity to make the most of the monthly lunar occurrence. The session is energetic and invigorating, while the soundtrack of gentle waves lapping against the shores adds to the holistic yoga experience.”

Madinat Jumeirah is set to mark its tenth anniversary later this year. The next Full Moon Yoga sessions at Madinat Jumeirah will take place at 7.30pm on Saturday, 12 July, Sunday 10 August, Tuesday, 9 September, Wednesday 8 October, Thursday 6 November, and Saturday 6 December.
