Shaikh Hassan clinches fifth place in Fontainebleau

PARIS- Bahrain show jumping team captain, SH Hassan bin Rashid Al Khalifa, secured a solid podium finish as he placed fifth in the Grand Prix Classic Fontainebleau CSI2* show jumping event in France.

4555 copyRiding in his first European show of the 2014 season, Sh Hassan rode his own horse, The Gruns, in a time of 63.34 over the accumulator course set in the Petit Parquet stadium. The Bahraini team rider beat out many top European riders to secure his podium spot in the illustrious French show jumping event.

‘I’m very pleased to start my European season on a high note. My teammates won big in the UK Windsor show and I’ve congratulated them, so it was good to continue the success in France. r the Asian Games in South Korea this coming September.

‘I am looking forward to competing and training with my teammates throughout summer. We have gained a lot of experience over the past year. The Games are only four months away and there is lots of work to do’ said the team captain Sh Hassan.
