Rosewood Corniche makes Hijaz the focus for a unique Ramadan experience

JEDDAH-  Saudi Arabia’s leading luxury hotel, Rosewood Corniche, is planning a unique Ramadan experience for guests, placing the culture and cuisine of Hijaz at its heart.

Rosewood Corniche1The multi award-winning hotel is adopting a strong Hijazi theme as it looks to immerse visitors in Saudi culture and heritage, transporting them into a world of charm and opulence during Iftar and Sohour.

At Habsburg and Noodles, staff wearing traditional Hijazi dress will welcome diners with Zamzam water, a traditional offering in Jeddah during the Holy Month.

For Iftar, the hotel’s main two restaurants will feature delicious buffets of authentic Hijazi cuisine such as gursan, jeraish, mento, lamb kabsa, and yaghmosh, along with traditional Arabic delights.

For Sohour, Habsburg will serve up a range of live cooking stations featuring international and local dishes such as saj, shawarma, lamb and beef liver, egg omelettes, and foul madamas.

A pure Hijazi style will dominate Habsburg and Noodles venues, offering Ramadan diners a typical experience of the ancient city of Hijaz, where they will be surrounded by colourful Fanous lanterns, Mashrabiya windows and traditional handicrafts.
