Regional Forum for Administrative and Secretariat Leaders concludes
MANAMA- The Ninth Regional Forum for Administrative and Secretariat Leaders, held under the patronage of the Social Development Minister Dr. Fatima Mohammed Al-Balooshi, concluded today(May 8th).
Three workshops were held today.
The first workshop entitled ‘ Effective communication skills for Secretaries’ was conducted by the Training and Events Consultant Mona Al Zayed, the second workshop entitled ‘ Prioritisation and Work Stress Management’ was conducted by the Head of Compulsory Education Unit-General and the Technical Education Sector Layla Al Mulla and the third workshop was conducted by the Freelance Trainer and Administrative Coach Waseela Al Mosawi about solving problems.
Al Zayed said that her workshop focused on effective communication skills as one of the most important skills for individuals, and noted that nothing can be accomplished without good communication, adding that effective communication skills urge individuals to be proactive and start conversations with others.
Al Mulla addressed stress management, saying that pressures are formed according to the task assigned to the employee, and it includes psychological, physical, administrative and social dimensions which affect the employees’ performance.
Al Mosawi said that a problem is a difficult , complex and mysterious situation, which does not have a clear and simple solution, and in the world of administration any problem represents a constraint or a barrier to achieving the desired goals efficiently and effectively.
Then, the Forum’s Secretary-General Dr. Fahad Ibrahim Al Shihabi and Bahraini Secretariat Society (BSS)’s Head Shahl Isaiba’I presented certificates to the participants, and invited them to register for the 10th Regional Forum for Administrative and Secretariat Leaders.-BNA
