Radisson RED launches contest for Dubai-based female creatives

In celebration of International Women’s Day, Radisson RED is excited to offer a chance for three auspicious female artists in the art, music and fashion industry to showcase their work!

Radisson RED, Dubai Silicon Oasis has launched a nationwide competition in celebration of International Women’s Day, giving aspiring up and coming female designers, artists and musicians a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to showcase their grind. Notorious for being the most playful and forward-thinking hotel, Radisson RED is announcing an incredible challenge, calling all the talented, strong and independent females to unlock their artistic skills and showcase their creative flair, to get a chance to win a space to show off their work.

A key factor in creating the Radisson RED experience was lining up local artists and creative masters to make RED easy on the eye, including Dubai-based art collective Art Painting Lab, pop culture artist Maria Iqbal and sculptor Neel Shukla.

The hotel is led by a strong communications and sales team with Colette Sullivan as Lead Marketing and Communications bringing her creative expertise to the market. Colette was a part of the core team responsible for the launch of the first Radisson RED in the UK as well. She is joined by Julia Paslyon as Lead Sales who is responsible for putting heads in beds and bums on seats. With over 14 years of experience, Julia has worked across an impressive nine Radisson Hotels in three cities and joins the team with a wealth of experience and an energetic persona. Nicole Weitsz also joined the team as Lead F&B. Previously heading entertainment at Radisson RED Cape Town. Last but certainly not the least, Melissa Gabriel, Lead Rooms looks after the front desk, reservations and all housekeeping departments at this artistic property.

Creative candidates will have until 31st of March to submit a short video of their story and concepts through Instagram and the winner will be rewarded with a fantastic space to showcase their finest work, be it a fashion show, a stage to perform or even an art exhibition.
