DUBAI- The only smartphone to combine the features of a handset, tablet, and TV remote into one mobile device, the Hisense X1 has marked the Middle East launch in Dubai.
X1 was officially released only in February this year at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Tailored to fit into the hands, the X1 is only 9.2 mm thick, and is available with a Bluetooth Portable Phone (sold separately) to make/receive calls and messages, and check and synchronize address book, among others.
This phone is one-of-its-kind and defines a new era in mobile computing. It was unveiled at a press conference in Dubai by Mr. Terry Wang, General Manager of Hisense Middle East, in the presence of Mr. Vishesh Bhatia, the CEO of Jumbo Electronics.
Mr Wang said: “The preview of our X1 at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas and the official release at the Mobile World Congress had generated strong industry feedback to the smartphone. The Middle East is one of our fast-growing markets, and we are delighted to mark the regional launch of the X1, one of our marquee products, here in Dubai.”

Featuring the latest Android 4.4 operating system and a powerful quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 2.3 GHz processor, the superior and seamless performance of the X1 is complemented by its unmatched aesthetics. The smartphone has a spectacular 1920 x 1080 pixel display in its 6.8 inch full HD 1080 P screen assuring an astonishing visual experience. At home, office or on the go, X1 provides a visual experience that simulates the HD TV.
For photography enthusiasts, X1 is the best portable camera they can ask for with a 13-megapixel main rear-facing camera that supports full HD (1080p) video recording and a 5.0 Megapixel front-facing camera. The blue glass light filter in the back camera greatly enhances picture quality.
Offering Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) 4.0, and supporting multiple user logging thanks to its Android 4.4 OS, the 4G smartphone assures dazzling internet speed.
