Emirati makeup artist Afiya Khalid announces “Beauty & Faith”campaign

DUBAI–This Ramadan Emirati Make Up Artist, Afiya Khalid will donate 20% of every make up booking to a local charity. Beauty & Faith campaign aims to promote the essence of the holy month and contribute to the wider community. Afiya Khalid – a mobile beauty service offers qualified make up artists and hair stylists at the privacy of your own home. Throughout Ramadan, customers can book for make up sessions or pre-book Eid make up and henna designs in advance. Beauty & Faith will donate to women and children charity organization.

An entrepreneur, Afiya Khalid’s passion for creative beauty started as early as at the age 16 when her obsession with colours and cosmetics started. Working on family and friends to experiment first and then to enhance her skills later, Afiya’s artistic flair encouraged her to pursue her passion to new heights. The art of henna design was also a creative outlet for Afiya who has over the years mastered the art of henna designs.In 2008, Afiya graduated from Makeup For Ever Academy with distinction and appreciation and has since worked with socialites, brides and local celebrities.  Today, Afiya Khalid works with a team of artists under her label Afiya Khalid, curving a niche to become one of the most recognized names in the beauty industry, both in the UAE and regionally.

“For me Ramadan is a time of spiritual reflection and a time of giving, Beauty & Faith campaign is about touching the hearts and lives of those in need while remaining beautiful. Keeping with the spirit of Ramadan, this is a perfect way for women to contribute and I hope to receive many to support this cause”said Afiya Khalid, Makeup Artist.

Afiya Khalid Ramadan campaign is created to engage the community through charity outreach. Beauty & Faith aims to attract women who want to look good but also feel good. The campaign will donate 20% of every service fee to a local based charity organization that supports women and children issues. Afiya Khalid recognizes the urgency for community involvement in social issues and Ramadan is a perfect time to create goodwill programs that will bring in positive experience and peace of mind.
