Al-Ghanim honors winners of 12th Kuwait Constitution contest
KUWAIT- In a big ceremony held on Monday(May 12th) , National Assembly (Parliament) Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim honored winner schools of the 12th Kuwait Constitution contest for high school students.
Hadiya Secondary School for Girls won the first place in girls’ schools category, while Mohammad Al-Mohaini Secondary School for Boys came first in boys’ schools category.
The contest was held under the dual sponsorship of the National Assembly General Secretariat and the Ministry of Education at the National Assembly HQs on Monday. The contest was open to all high schoolers from the public and private sectors.
The contest aimed at disseminating awareness among students as to the constitution and its value to society.
The honoring ceremony was attended by MPs Kamel Al-Awadhi, Madhi Al-Hajri, Dr. Abdullah Al-Turaiji, Dr. Yousef Al-Zelzela and Dr. Mohammad Al-Howaila; Parliament’s Secretary General Allam Al-Kanderi; Parliament’s Assistant Secretary General for Media and Public Relations Sami Al-Shayea; and Parliament’s Assistant Secretary General for sessions affairs Jomaa Al-Shatti.
Also attended were: Assistant Undersecretary for Development and Educational Technology Affairs Bader Al-Furaih; and Director of school activities at Education Ministry Muna Al-Furaih, and a number of education ministry’s officials. -KUNA
