Zari O’Breesam fashion house launches Eid ul Fitr 2014 collection

DUBAI-  Zari O’Breesam, the popular home-grown fashion house, launched its Eid ul Fitr 2014 Collection at I Love Fashion TV Café at a glittering event that brought together the elite from the community as well as fashion media from different parts of the world.

According to Nazek Al Sabbagh, Emirati designer and founder of Zari O’Breesam fashion house, the new collection was inspired by her goal to offer Gulf women modern and fashionable designs for the summer period.

Al Sabbagh was inspired by natural colors, including marine jewels and coral colors, while remaining true to the concept of using Zari, the glossy golden and silver threads and Breesam, a silk yarn in bright colors.

“With beauty of nature as the theme, the new collection features outfits created specifically for summer wear, including Ramadan and Eid ul Fitr periods, which fall in summer this year. The collection also includes dresses made from transparent silk that mimic colours of precious pearls blended with mysterious and charming elements,” said Al Sabbagh.

Each piece is elegantly designed, and enriched by tiny pearls in ornate geometric patterns. In general, the collection features contemporary designs that are considered a milestone in Nazek’s collections.

The intricately designed dresses come with glittering tops, making the pieces even trendier for women.

The dominant fabric used is silk, while the colors are dominated by pastel shades, such as white, yellow and light orange, to suit with the summer season, in addition to other colors like violet and vinous, which give it a special and magical touch.

“The fashion show evoked an overwhelming response, especially from local, regional and global media, and the event was covered by the renowned ‘Fashion TV’ channel. Our intention in this collection is to provide elegant designs that suit women in the Gulf region for all occasions. The Eid ul Fitr 2014 Collection includes high-end pieces that are perfect for every woman during summer.”

Zari O’Breesam plans to participate in number of international fashion shows. The fashion house continues releasing modern designs and styles that fit the traditions of the UAE and the blend of heritage and modernism.

Zari O’Breesam has spread widely all over the Gulf in record time, filling in the void in the local fashion industry by providing the right attire for women looking for beautiful dresses to suit different occasions. Al Sabbagh is a much sought after designer among fashion-conscious GCC women.
