Yoku Moku continues expansion in UAE, opens new outlet at Emirates Towers

DUBAI- Yoku Moku, an internationally-renowned Japanese confectionary brand, has announced the opening of its new stand at the prestigious Emirates Towers, Dubai, marking a milestone in the company’s ambitious expansion drive in the UAE.

The Japanese firm’s entrance into the UAE’s hospitality sector and its new opening at the Emirates Towers, which is renowned for providing hospitality and key opportunities, will further boost its business activities. The presence of Yoku Moku along with other key market players at the Emirates Towers, will add more taste to the Japanese confectionary brand in the UAE.

From a modest first outlet in the Emirates in October 2012, the Yoku Moku number has grown to eleven (11) in just eighteen (18 ) months.

Speaking on the occasion, Mansoor Al Sayegh, Executive Director of Alsa Lifestyle and Al Sayegh Group, said: “Dubai is a happening city where Emirates Towers is a prominent landmark that houses big names from the business and hospitality sectors. The idea behind opening our outlet in the complex is to be among the key players in different fields.”

He added, “It is a proud moment for us to unveil our latest signature pop store in such a famous location. We are highly pleased that we have been able to spread the craving for confectionary with a rich and delicate flavor that simply melts in mouth across the UAE.”

Currently, Yoku Moku operates four outlets in Abu Dhabi, and six in Dubai, and one in Al Ain. Alsa Life Style & Apparel, which is the retail arm of Al Sayegh Group Trading LLC Abu Dhabi (est. in 1980) – one of the leading retail groups, is the exclusive distributor of Yoku Moku in the region.

Ehab Al Bakri , Chief Operating Officer at Alsa Lifestyle, added: “We are eager to be exploring potential businesses within the hospitality sector. Dubai has always been the hub for hospitality and Yoku Moku is the perfect fit. Yoku Moku’s commitment to quality and freshness is creditable. We are naturally thrilled to be a part of Yoku Moku’s success story not only in the UAE, but the entire region.”

Thanks to their delicious taste, Yoku Moku cookies are a rage with the UAE’s multi-national community and visitors. Produced and imported from Japan, Yoku Moku uses Hokkaido-born butter made with pure milk from a vast nature that boasts its quality, flavor and freshness.

Yoku Moku is also now available in kiosks at Mirdif City Centre, Deira City Centre and Ajman City Centre. New outlets will also open at Ibn Battuta Mall, Al Ghurair Mall and Mishriff Mall in Abu Dhabi soon.
