DUBAI – Toyota today(August 18th) announced a steady growth in sales in the Middle East (GCC, Yemen, Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq) selling 356,805 units in the first half of 2014 (Jan- June 2014) which is a 6 % growth in sales as compared to the same period in 2013. Toyota’s sales saw a balanced growth across its diverse portfolio of sedans, SUVs and pickups to maintain its leadership position in the region.
According to Takayuki Yoshitsugu, Chief Representative of Middle East & North Africa Representative Office, Toyota Motor Corporation,“The consistent growth in sales during the first half of this year validates the success of Toyota’s new design direction in terms of developing more emotionally compelling products to connect with consumers.
