Toshiba introduces new powerhouse laptop, the Tecra W50

DUBAI–Toshiba Gulf FZE launches today(May 11th) the Tecra W50, a 15.6-inch laptop designed as the ideal desktop replacement for professionals who demand high-precision performance. Powered by the 4th Generation Intel Core i7 Quad Core processor and equipped with NVIDIA Quadro K2100M dedicated graphics, it provides the speed required to multitask efficiently. It is now available in the market.

Vibrant Visuals

The 15.6” Toshiba Tecra W50 will be featuring a full 4K Ultra-HD screen for a full vibrant colour, crystal clarity and higher contrast display.

Its display is made of an IPS panel, giving users an accurate colour representation and the benefit of wider viewing angles. The Tecra W50 also features Toshiba Resolution+ which helps deliver crystal clarity and automatically improves any average-quality content to HD.

Extensive Connectivity

Saving users the effort of bringing extra adapters to meetings, the Tecra W50 has ports for HDMI, RGB and LAN. The Tecra W50 also features a serial port for advanced communications interface. It also has three USB 3.0 ports, WiFi, Bluetooth a slot for SD connections, allowing users to backup and transfer files easily and quickly. Through its Full HD 2MP web camera, the Tecra W50 produces clear and realistic images during video conferences.

Advanced Security

The anti-theft system in the Tecra W50 includes both software and hardware solutions. A fingerprint reader and the Trusted Platform Module prevent unauthorised access to documents and personal data, while HDD Protection by 3D Sensor allows the laptop to detect sudden movements, avoiding mechanical damage to the hard disk drive by preparing it prior to impact. At 2.7kg, it has a tough chassis that is designed to withstand the effect of accidental falls and knocks.

The Tecra W50 is also equipped with Toshiba EasyGuard, a technology that supports hardware components against the stress and hazards of continuous mobile usage.

Enhanced Convenience

Engineered for productivity, the Tecra W50 comes with an Accupoint for improved usability so multitasking becomes faster and easier. Allowing users to work efficiently anywhere, it also has a backlit keyboard that makes typing effortless under varied lighting conditions.
