TIME Hotels Unveils Ambitious Growth Strategy with 12 New Openings by Q1 2026

Dubai – TIME Hotels, the UAE-based hospitality brand, is ramping up its global expansion with plans to open 12 new properties by the first quarter of 2026. The bold strategy, announced ahead of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025, targets high-growth markets in Saudi Arabia, Tanzania, Morocco, and the Indian Ocean. TIME Hotels aims to reach 100 properties within five years, establishing itself as a major player in the regional hospitality sector.

The company also revealed the launch of two new brands: HALO by TIME, its upscale brand, and VIVI by TIME, a lifestyle brand. Both brands will debut in the Maldives in 2026. VIVI by TIME will feature 75 rooms across six stories on Hankede Island in the Addu Atoll, offering stunning sea views and luxury facilities. HALO by TIME will offer 150 rooms, including overwater villas with sunrise and sunset views, spread across eight stories.

TIME Hotels has partnered with the Maldives Fund Management Corporation (MFMC), a state-owned entity aimed at boosting private sector investment and addressing local financial system challenges.

Mohamed Awadalla, CEO of TIME Hotels, said: “By Q1 2026, we’ll open 12 new properties across key destinations like Saudi Arabia, Tanzania, Morocco, and the Indian Ocean. Over the next five years, we expect to expand to over 100 hotels. Our growth is driven by markets where tourism is a key economic pillar, including Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, eco-tourism in Tanzania and Morocco, and expansion into Asia.”

In addition to its new brands, TIME Hotels will present Rotella, a luxury brand focused on exclusivity, refined service, and elegant design. Its flagship offering, TIME Hotels & Resorts, will continue to deliver authentic, premium experiences, while Express by TIME will maintain its budget-friendly focus. The company’s TIME Residences brand will expand into three sub-tiers—Premium, Executive, and Classic—offering short- and long-term stays with self-catering options.

“For the first time, we’ll showcase all our sub-brands at ATM, underscoring our vision for the future of hospitality,” Awadalla added. “This is an exciting time for us, and ATM is a key platform to highlight our global scaling ability while maintaining our commitment to quality.”

Currently, TIME Hotels operates 17 properties across the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt, with a portfolio of over 3,000 rooms. The company has 12 properties with 5,000 keys in the pipeline.
